A total of six teams have confirmed participation for the Asian Champions Club Hockey Tournament that will be held in Matale, district of Kandy, Sri Lanka from the 5th to 15th of June.
The six teams are Malaysia's KL Hockey Club, Sri Lank's Air Force, Colombo Hockey Club as well as three yet to be named teams from Hong Kong, Pakistan and Oman will vie for the single spot up for grabs to the World Clubs Championships to be held next year.
"We are awaiting confirmation from India and Uzbekistan," said Sri Lanka Hockey Federation Presidet Sumith Edirisinghe.
"We look forward to hosting the tournament and everything is in place. More details will be revealed after the AHF Council meeting this Friday."
