Sapura survived a spirited comeback from
UniKL to make the semi finals of the TNB Cup as they edged their
opponents 3-2 on the night and 6-4 on aggregate at the National Hockey
stadium.
And Sunday 2-30 also made it through to
the President Cup semis although they were held to a 1-1 draw as their
first leg emphatic win of 5-2 saw them safely through on a 6-3
aggregate.
With thunderstorm looming, the start of
both the matches was delayed but once it got underway, the Sapura v
UniKL tie kept the spectators at the edge of trheir seats.
