The Malaysian Hockey Federation invited the UniKL team for a meeting today, that was held amongst teams that are to participate in the forthcoming Malaysian Hockey League, said to be commencing on December 4.
UniKL, who intend to make their debut in the MHL this year will comprise largely of players from the Project 2013, some discards of the last National Juniors plus some fringe players who could not make it to the National Team.
And one MHF official had gone on record to say that UniKL had sorted out its affiliation and was now affiliated with the Kuala Lumpur Hockey Association.UniKL, who intend to make their debut in the MHL this year will comprise largely of players from the Project 2013, some discards of the last National Juniors plus some fringe players who could not make it to the National Team.
Here is where it gets murky, KLHA has received the application for affiliation but no decision has been made as their Council has yet to meet and checks with some officials revealed that a decision has not been made.
So is MHF now usurping the powers of an affiliate and making decisions for them as well? And why invite a club that has no locus standi to a meeting? And why the lies?
