KLHC CRUISE AS SAPURA STRUGGLE

Defending champions KL Hockey Club cruised to a 5-2 win over Nur Insafi Penang while Sapura were made to struggle before overcoming Yayasan Negeri Sembilan 3-1 in the TNB Malaysian Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium.

The win gives KLHC 21 points from seven matches and they are just one win away from equaling the record of YNS in the 1996 season when they won all their preliminary round matches, without dropping a single point.
