The Malaysian Hockey Confederation Annual General Meeting, which was slated for September 23, has now been postponed.
An email to notify the affiliates was sent out by the MHC office this morning but no reason was assigned for the postponement.
In the notification, the affiliates have been informed that the meeting on that date will now be a Council Meeting, the second of the year, after the last meeting held on April 9.
Though no one would admit to it, it is believed that the decision to postpone the AGM was as a result of this blog's posting questioning the validity of the AGM when nor the Executive Board or Council had set the date for the meeting, as per the constitutional requirement.
