Johor emerged champions of the Presidents Cup when they defeated Armed Forces 4-2 at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil. The win was a first for the southerners who pocked RM30,000 for their efforts.
The win was hard earned as Johor had to come from behind and at one stage the match had to be stopped for...minutes due to heavy rain. And the remaining five minutes were not played.
In the match to decide the third placing, Thunderbolt defeat Bukit Jalil Sports School 5-3 to bag RM10,000.
