The national men's hockey team have been given a relatively easy draw for the Second Round of the World Hockey League.
They will play in Elektrostal, Russia from the 27th of May till 2nd of June and have been pitted against Austria, Egypt, Japan, Russia and Ukraine - all teams ranked lower then Malaysia.
The top two teams from the tournament will then move on to play in the third round which will be held over two venues - Rotterdam, Holland from 12th to 23 June and Germany from 24th June to 7th of July.
And the Malaysian women have been drawn to play in New Delhi from the 18th to 24th February 2013 where they will be up against hosts India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia and one other team that is yet to be determined.
