With the focus on the national team over, with exception of naming who coaches the team at the Azlan Shah Cup next month, the Project 2013 squad are in the midst of preparation for the Junior Asia Cup next month which serves as a qualifier for the Junior World Cup scheduled for December 2013 in India.
While the jostling for positions and power continues in the MHC, they failed to inform the media of the plans for the Project 2013 team which is Malaysia's best hope of reinstalling the confidence of the public towards the sport of hockey in the country.
Thus this blog has taken the onus to provide not only the fans but the media as well on the matches lined up for the Project squad with hope that instead of jostling for positions and candidates, those at the helm of MHC also look at disseminating news.
Below is the list of matches and the players in the current training squad.
